On Nov. 16, during the 2022 China International Digital Economy Expo hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and the People's Government of Hebei Province, The Network and Data Security Industry Development Summit Forum was held online with the theme of jointly building data security barriers and escorting the development of digital economy. The forum is hosted by the Organizing Committee of China International Digital Economy Expo, and organized by Cyberspace Security Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hebei Province.

The leaders of the relevant departments of the Network Security Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stressed that the report of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that we should unswervingly implement the overall national security concept. Industry and information technology are the main fronts for the development of the digital economy and the main battleground for building a manufacturing power, a network power, and a digital China. We should make concerted efforts from both supply and demand, and do a solid job in managing network and data security in industry and information technology, promote the high-quality development of the network and data security industry.

Fu Jingbo, director of the Network Security Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out that promoting the high-quality development of the network and data security industry shall, with the construction of industrial parks as the carrier, technological innovation as the driving force and talent cultivation as the support, accelerate the industrial cluster development, and comprehensively enhance the network security capabilities to make greater contributions to the construction of a manufacturing power, a cyber power and a digital China.

In the specially invited report, Wu Jiangxing, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, shared the report of Endogenous Security Enabling Information Physical System Network Resilience, Shen Changxiang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, made a related report on Building a Secure and Credible Cyberspace Security Protection System, and representatives of enterprises such as NSFOCUS Technologies, Shandong Donghua Goldencis, and Beijing Esafenet discussed around the theme of jointly building a data security barrier and escort the development of the digital economy.
